@riston consulting was formed in 2002 and is one of the most specialised companies in the web development field in Greece, with a vast field of collaborating professionals . The company offers complete solutions and services for the creation and promotion of Internet sites, Portals, Intranets and Extranets, creating web-based systems including workflows and e-Commerce options (with B2Β and B2C) for national and international e-shops.

@riston consulting offers unique pioneer solutions for the web environment, with the full utilisation of new Internet technologies and Online Social Media (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, You Tube etc), in the entire range of operations of business. Among these, included are mid-range and large corporations, industries, financial institutions and businesses in the private sector.

In 2002  @riston consulting took on the responsibility of managing the Web Site of the Greek Presidency of the European Union  ( https://www.mfa.gr), on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  thus entering the area of web site creation in the Greek market using North American and European standards.

@riston consulting designs, develops, implements and offers solutions based on high-end stable Open Source products which are customised by @riston consulting and its collaborators, as well as by other reputable Open Source organisations, thus offering affordable solutions.

Career

We are currently interested in adding to our team the following positions:

  • Senior Sales Consultant preferably specialised in the IT field, but not mandatory.

    The person will have the sole responsibility to bring in mid-level to large clients interested in upgrading or replacing their current site & e-shop. Leads will be supplied, however each collaborator must use his personal contact list in parallel to bring us new projects, in Greece, or preferably abroad. Reports to the Owner & General Manager.

  • Mid-level to senior developers with expertise in html, php, MySQL, Apache, CSS and other Joomlal web-related fields.
    Reports to the respective Project Manager.

  • Graphics web experts. People who have experience and an artistic touch using various photo and graphics editing software. Knowledge of Flash is desired but not mandatory.

  • Mid-level e-marketing specialists with deep knowledge of Facebook and Google campaigns. Must have at least 3 yrs experience and must be willing to learn our methods, in conjuncture with our team's actions.

Prerequisites for collaboration include:

- having a cellular phone,
- use of Skype,
- a high-speed internet connection,
- laptop with a webcam, speakers,
- a strong command of the English Language,
- access to a fax or e-fax,
- ability to work unsupervised.


Knowledge of MicroSoft Business Suite and more specifically Open-Source tools such as Sugar CRM will be considered as a plus.

Preference will be given to individuals who have a strong background in the use of the CMS Joomla! v1.5 & VirtueMart v.1.1.9 and a good working knowledge of the PMI and Best  Web Standards W3C/WAI.
